I have always been naturally drawn to people and feel genuinely interested in what shapes us, our experiences, and the unique journeys we each take through life. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of caring and therapeutic roles, always supporting people as individuals and recognising that no two experiences are ever the same.

I believe that healing often begins through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with feeling safe enough to be authentic. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you, offering support, understanding and gentle challenge as you find your own way forward.

Nature also plays an important part in my practice. I believe the natural world offers a sense of calm, grounding and perspective, creating space to reflect, heal and grow. I aim to provide an environment that feels peaceful, restorative and nurturing.

My Journey

What inspired me to be a counsellor? I became aware of working in a very person centred way but continuity was restricted by the nature of the working environment.

Thus I made the decision to pursue counselling as a vocation and this compounded my commitment to ensuring that those who come to me are given the tools to help themselves.

Simple Truth

Sharing difficulties with a neutral person can allow progress in a very therapeutic way. This will assist an individual to move forward with their lives armed with tools when difficulties present themselves.

What I believe
