Hello and welcome…
“What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever said?” The boy asks.
The horse replies, “Help.”
Hello, I'm Becky. It's lovely that you've found your way here. I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor based in North Devon. I work with adults aged 18 and over, supporting people through a wide range of life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, domestic abuse, relationship difficulties and living with chronic illness.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. You may feel stuck, weighed down, or unsure how to move forward. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you don't have to face these challenges alone.
I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind. Together, we'll explore your experiences at your own pace. My role is to listen with genuine empathy, support you without judgement, and walk alongside you as you begin to make sense of your thoughts and feelings. My hope is that, through our work together, you'll feel less alone and more able to feel like you again.
For over 35 years, I have worked in a variety of caring and professional roles, supporting adults through difficult times and helping them find their own path towards healing and wellbeing. This experience, together with my naturally compassionate and holistic approach, has led me to counselling—a profession that I feel privileged to be part of.
If you're considering counselling, I'd be delighted to hear from you. You can get in touch by phone or email to arrange a free 20-minute telephone consultation. This gives us an opportunity to chat, answer any questions you may have, and see whether we feel we're the right fit for working together. Finding a counsellor you feel comfortable with is an important first step, and there's no pressure or obligation to continue.
